We partner with a certified background screening provider to run checks on every member. This covers identity, criminal record and sex offender registry checks. Results are reviewed before any account is activated. We re-screen active members annually.

Food safety you can count on.

Every host on Bon-App holds a current food safety certificate, earned through our free 45-minute online training course. The course covers safe food handling, allergen management, proper storage temperatures and kitchen hygiene. We require renewal every two years.

Your money is protected.

Bon-App holds payment in escrow from the moment of booking. Funds are only released to the host after the meal is confirmed as complete. In the case of a no-show or food safety concern, our support team reviews and refunds appropriately.
